Went there last year on a stag do. My observations..
Lot's of blokes in tracksuits with shaved heads.
Didn't see one copper the entire time (cabbie said it's Policed by the local mafia).
Was offered sniff sniff literally everywhere we went.
Plenty of fit birds around in the eve but they seemed to mainly be coupled up.
Very few brits, lots of scandinavians/krauts.. Meant the music was mainly euro pop shite
Overall wasn't bad, we had fun, it was cheap and didn't get our heads smashed in so I consider that a win!
Would I go back? - Would I fuck.

Went in 2001, sunny beach was run by the mafia, brasses and pissed up swedes everywhere and the food was awful, dare say it's been cleaned up a bit.

Went there in 1984 as a teenager on a family holiday, strange place back then, still a communist stronghold and reminiscent of an abandoned Chernobyl without the nuclear fallout. I hear its much nicer now. Have fun.

One thing that life has taught me though, is never (NEVER) stay at places with names like Sunny Beach...

Very odd country with two man made resorts. We went there about a decade ago when my ex was pregnant with my first child. I remember (a) every night a woman singing 'I cant get your outta my head' in terrible German/English, and (b) going on a daytrip to Romania in absolute agony with some sort of bowel issue owing to the lack of fibre.
